Deep Tissue Massage
Trades, drivers, desk work, and shoulders that have been up by your ears for weeks
Deep tissue is slower and more specific than a relaxing massage. Nida works with forearms and elbows as well as hands, staying with one area until it lets go rather than moving over the whole body in an hour.
It is the treatment her regulars book. If you have a job that keeps you in one position, or you have been carrying something in your shoulders since spring, this is the one.
What happens
- You talk through where it is tight and how firm you want it, before anything starts.
- Warm oil and broad strokes first. Nothing goes deep cold.
- Slow, sustained pressure into the areas you have pointed out, layer by layer.
- Nida checks the pressure as she goes. Firm should feel like something is happening; it should not have you holding your breath.
- Drink plenty of water afterwards and keep the rest of the day gentle.
What people said about this one
Went to Nida for a deep tissue massage because of all my various aches and pains. The whole service was great through out and I already felt better by the end of the session. She was able to target knots I didn't even know I had! Really a true expert. The space was inviting, clean and relaxing. Will 100% be going back
I highly recommend Nida if you're looking for a proper deep tissue massage. She is extremely skilled, experienced, and clearly takes pride in her work.
